For all of us, Lockdown meant being at home much more. To practice my oil painting I took part in the STRADA Easel Challenge. This seemed a good idea and required making a daily painting from life during the months of September 2020 and January 2021.
It generated 61 small oil painting, mostly still life subjects.
Complex interiors are a fascination. I have always loved other peoples but during lockdown I had to paint some of my own. There’s a great pleasure in noticing arrangements and lingering to describe objects which interest most.
